The postgraduate degree course trains professionals to work as nurses in mental health-psychiatry contexts. The training programme allows students to acquire clinical, relational and social skills to develop comprehensive, integrated and continuous care strategies for addressing emerging mental health needs within the social community.

The course trains students to manage emergency situations and provides the necessary skills to address issues ranging from forensic psychiatry to the mental health of adolescents, from eating disorders to those on the autistic spectrum.

During the lessons, students explore the role that nurses play in promoting a positive image of mental health and the relationships between primary care and mental health services.
