The postgraduate degree course Imaging muscolo-scheletrico trains radiologists in the main areas of musculoskeletal diagnostic applications, equipping them with specialised skills.

The course provides a comprehensive foundation for interpreting radiological case studies across a wide range of musculoskeletal pathologies. It defines appropriate indications and interpretative methods, with particular emphasis on the collaboration between radiologists and clinicians within diagnostic and therapeutic pathways in the musculoskeletal field.

The postgraduate degree course includes a theoretical component delivered through online lectures and a practical component consisting of an in-person traineeship programme, allowing participants to apply the theoretical concepts covered during the lectures.

The training programme begins with a preparatory module focused on the fundamentals of radiological techniques and anatomy. Subsequently, it explores the various joint regions, with a particular focus on sports-related injuries, with the participation of radiologists with expertise in the field and clinicians, offering a multidisciplinary perspective.

Finally, the course addresses specific topics such as Emergency, Oncology, Peripheral Nerve and Conflict Syndromes Radiology, with particular attention to imaging techniques in the presence of metal prostheses.

The postgraduate degree course trains specialists in diagnostic radiology with specific expertise in musculoskeletal imaging, a field of growing importance in both public and private healthcare sectors.

The skills acquired can be applied in areas such as: Ultrasound, MRI, CT and Interventional Radiology for joints, muscles, tendons and soft tissues, with applications in oncology, sports, degenerative conditions, diabetic foot and rheumatological and neuromuscular diseases.
