The postgraduate degree course Chirurgia Mininvasiva e robotica epato-bilio-pancreatica offers an in-depth technical and cultural exploration of topics such as physiopathology, anatomy, endoscopic surgery, clinical and robotic surgical therapy, integrating organisational aspects and comparative analysis of the cost-benefit and cost-effectiveness of the robotic approach.
The main goal is to provide an updated and comprehensive review of surgical techniques and technologies applicable to a wide range of procedures.
The course focuses on the sector of surgical pathology of the liver and pancreas, with particular attention to benign and malignant neoplastic diseases requiring surgical treatment.
In all these cases, a hands-on, on-the-job teaching method is preferred, prioritising active involvement in clinical practice over purely theoretical lectures.
Career opportunities
The postgraduate degree course equips both physicians and specialists in general surgery with the necessary skills for a modern and patient-centred approach, that, starting from a full understanding of the cultural context, addresses all therapeutic options. These procedures may involve the use of robotic systems in hepato-bilio-pancreatic surgery, expanding the range of current technical possibilities.
