The postgraduate degree course Metodologia della Ricerca e della Sperimentazione clinica provides specialised training in scientific research, with a focus on oncology, haematology and other advanced disciplines actively involved in clinical trials.

Participants acquire knowledge of:

  • preclinical medication studies preceding clinical trials (e.g. decoding of human metabolic reactions using intelligence amplifiers)
  • clinical trial methodology for medications and medical devices (study design, ethical aspects, regulations, biostatistics, pharmacoeconomics)
  • the role of laboratories in clinical trials
  • pharmacological tools for precision medicine (pharmacokinetics and clinical pharmacogenetics, pharmacological interactions)
  • digital, technological, and organisational innovation (machine learning, application of artificial intelligence to clinical trials and pharmacological development, Health Technology Assessment).

 

Career opportunities

The postgraduate degree course trains professionals to work in the following fields: pharmaceutical companies, contract research organisations (CROs), healthcare and university hospital companies, as well as scientific institutes for research, hospitalisation and healthcare (IRCCSs).

Auditing students:

800 € in a single installment
