The postgraduate degree course Lean 4 Smart Factory trains professionals with advanced skills in Lean Production techniques and in the conscious use of digital technologies in the Smart Factory context for projects focused on enhancing and continually improving business processes, both in the industrial and in the service fields, to support production.
The course allows students to develop the ability to define lean strategies and implementation plans, which are essential to support the company's management and operations. By learning Lean Production 4.0/5.0 methodologies, participants will be able to design, promote and manage continuous improvement projects, using advanced tools and specific technologies for the Smart Factory, actively contributing to the company's digital transformation.
The course aims to develop a deep understanding of lean principles and techniques, with a customer-oriented approach, which will be disseminated and implemented within organisations.
The postgraduate degree course is organised by the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia in cooperation with the University of Pisa and the University of Florence, and awards a joint degree.
