The postgraduate degree course Spettro autistico dal bambino all'adulto is designed to train medical psychiatrists, child neuropsychiatrists and psychologists in the management of individuals with autism spectrum disorders from childhood to adulthood.

The training programme equips participants with clinical, neurobiological, pharmacological, and relational skills necessary to develop integrated, continuous, and high-quality care strategies to meet the specific mental health needs of patients with autism spectrum disorders throughout their lives.

The skills acquired through this postgraduate degree course can also serve as specialised training for primary and secondary school teachers working with students affected by neurodevelopmental disorders.

Career opportunities

Graduates of the postgraduate degree course can work in the following fields:

  • psychiatric and child neuropsychiatric services
  • hospital services for the diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric disorders
  • local services (mental health centre, associated medical practices, clinics, foster homes for people with disabilities)
  • community and day care centres, residential and semi-residential psychiatric services
  • facilities supporting individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders

2000 € payable in 3 instalments

Auditing students:

800 € in a single installment
