The postgraduate degree course in Preparazione atletica nel calcio per i settori giovanili, in agreement with the Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio (F.I.G.C) in collaboration with the Associazione Italiana Allenatori Calcio, was the first postgraduate degree course dedicated to athletic training in football for youth sectors and is recognised as a university training programme that meets all the quality criteria defined by the FIGC Technical Sector.

It provides theoretical and practical guidance to develop and conduct physical training programmes for football players from youth sector teams.

The training programme includes a wide range of practical activities, enabling students to plan and conduct athletic preparation programmes throughout the various phases of the competitive season.

The programme of the postgraduate degree course is designed to train professionals capable of addressing the challenges of athletic training and performance models within the youth sector.

Career opportunities

Thanks to the agreement signed between the University of Pisa and the Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio (F.I.G.C), upon completion of the postgraduate degree course, each student will obtain a license as a youth sector athletic trainer by the FIGC Technical Sector.

Regular students:

3600 € payable in 3 instalments

  • 900 € no later than 15 June 2026

Auditing students:

1500 € in a single installment

Registration fee reductions are available for 6 students as specified in the call for applications.
