The postgraduate degree course Chirurgia andrologica e ricostruttiva trains students in the latest surgical techniques for male and female reconstructive procedures aimed at treating genital and prostate diseases.

The postgraduate degree course offers a comprehensive overview of reconstructive surgery in urology, including procedures for incontinence and urethral strictures, and in andrology, focusing on the treatment of erectile dysfunction and La Peyronie’s Disease. Throughout the course, students will also study and perform surgical procedures on both cisgender and transgender patients.

Students will have the opportunity to explore the most innovative techniques, working with the latest implantable materials and devices used to treat impotence and incontinence in both men and women.

The postgraduate degree course includes weekly contributions from a renowned visiting lecturer, a specialist in the field, who conducts surgeries and delivers lectures.

The training programme consists of four weeks of in-person training, spread throughout the academic year, during which students not only attend lectures but also engage in hands-on surgical practice.
