The postgraduate degree course teaches the theory and techniques of water rehabilitation, a highly effective rehabilitation approach for joint and functional recovery, particularly in cases of chronic or acute musculoskeletal and neurological pathologies.
In addition to anatomical and biomechanical references, one of the main objectives of the postgraduate degree course is to promote scientific research. The training programme includes many practical activities in the pool, allowing students to directly experience the potential of water as a support to other techniques and as a fundamental tool in treating a wide range of acute and chronic pathologies.

The postgraduate degree course in Idrokinesiterapia at the University of Pisa is the only one in Italy.
