The course is delivered entirely in English and involves the participation of international lecturers.
Currently, there are two international agreements in place with Nürtingen-Geislingen University and RANEPA University that allow students to obtain a double degree: a Bachelor’s Degree in Science in Management for Business and Economics (MBE).
Academic disciplines mainly include marketing strategy, accounting and finance, auditing and management control, human resources and organisation.
The degree course is at the forefront in the fields of management, economics and commerce, allowing the development of leadership skills and teamwork through the analysis of business cases and group works.
The Bachelor’s Degree grants admission to all Master’s Degree Courses belonging to the LM-56 - Economic Sciences and LM-77 - Economic Business Sciences classes, and allows students to apply for various Master’s Degree Courses at foreign universities.
In order to enrol in the degree course, students must have a five-year secondary school diploma or another qualification obtained abroad recognised as suitable, or a four-year secondary school diploma with the relevant additional year, or, if no longer active, the assigned coursework debt.
To access the course of study, students must have basic knowledge and skills in logic, writing, reading, textual comprehension and criticism, and quantitative subjects (arithmetic, algebra, and basic geometry). The level required for such knowledge and skills is equal to that achievable with a secondary school diploma. Proficient knowledge of English at least at level B2, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, is also required. The clarification of such knowledge and the specification of the verification methods are contained in the Academic Regulations of the degree course, where the additional educational requirements are indicated in case the verification is unsuccessful.

The level required for such knowledge and skills is equal to that achievable with a secondary school diploma. Proficient knowledge of English at least at level B2, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, is also required, given the international nature of the subjects taught and the use of English language during the lessons. The degree course follows a locally set number in relation to the available resources. The number of eligible students and the selection procedure are published every year through the relevant call for application. Candidates applying for admission are evaluated based on the score obtained in one of the tests listed in the call for application. Candidates can earn extra points beyond their test score if they hold qualifications proving their English language proficiency, specified in the call for applications, with results exceeding the minimum required level, or if they have passed the Economics exam (Principles of Economics and Management) with a score equal to or greater than 27/30 as part of the Foundation Course programme offered by the University of Pisa.
If there is a tie in the total score, the younger candidate prevails.
As for the assignment of additional educational requirements (OFA), students who have taken the TOLC-E test in Italian and scored below 14 in the English section must also pass a 6 CFU English language exam (OFA1). The OFA1 must be cleared before taking any other exam; otherwise, students will not be able to take other exams.
Those who took the TOLC-E in Italian and scored between 14 and 17 in the English section must also pass a 6 CFU English language exam by the winter session (OFA1), otherwise they will not be able to take any further exams.
There is no OFA1 for those who have taken the ENGLISH TOLC-E, the SAT, the ACT, and the GMAT regardless of the score.
If the admission test score is below 11.5, students will be assigned an additional educational requirement (OFA2), which entails completing a 1-CFU integration from the Principles of Mathematics exam. OFA2 can also be cleared by passing one of the OFA recovery tests (ENGLISH TOLC-E) provided for in the calendar of recovery sessions. OFA2 must be cleared before the student can take the exams of the following years.
