The University of Pisa has renewed its agreement with the insurance company UnipolSAI until 25 February 2025, offering discounts on insurance policies. The agreement provides a range of benefits for University employees, cohabiting family members and partners in de facto unions (“more uxorio”).
To take out or renew insurance products under the terms of the agreement, employees must present a document confirming their current employment relationship with the University, valid for the current year.
For cohabiting family members, it is necessary to present a family status certificate or provide a self-declaration pursuant to Presidential Decree No. 445 of 28 December 2000, confirming that the required conditions are met.
Retired staff must also provide a self-declaration pursuant to Presidential Decree No. 445 of 28 December 2000, confirming that the required conditions are met.
For employees’ partners in de facto unions (“more uxorio”), it is necessary to present either a family status certificate or a residence certificate, together with an appropriate self-declaration pursuant to Presidential Decree No. 445 of 28 December 2000, attesting to the cohabitation (convivenza more uxorio).
The agreement covers insurance products offered at preferential rates, including the following types of cover: Third-Party Motor Liability Cover (R.C.A.) Cars, Mopeds and Motorcycles, Comprehensive Motor Cover “Garanzie Corpi e Veicoli Terrestri”, Accident Insurance “Infortuni”, Health Insurance “Malattia”, Home Insurance “Abitazione”.
The agreement also extends to services offered by UnipolBanca, the group’s banking division, which allows payment of insurance premiums in monthly instalments at zero interest, as well as offering other advantageous banking products (mortgages, current accounts, savings management, etc.).
