Students enrolled at the University of Pisa are entitled to a reduced admission fee for the elevated walkway along the Pisa City Walls: EUR 3 instead of the full EUR 5 ticket, upon presenting their University ID card at the ticket office or showing proof of enrolment on the Alice portal.
Reopened after extensive restoration work, the elevated walkway along the Pisa City Walls offers a unique perspective over the city and connects Piazza dei Miracoli with the Lungarni. The route, 11 metres above ground and 3 km long with several intermediate exits, winds its way past major monuments, picturesque viewpoints and hidden corners of Pisa.
There are five access points, four of which are accessible to people with disabilities; the walkway is open all year round, with opening times varying by season.
