Research
Research interests
I am a researcher in Human-Computer Interaction with an interdisciplinary background spanning Computer Science, Design, and Artificial Intelligence.
I currently hold a position as an Assistant Professor (RTD-A) at the Department of Computer Science, University of Pisa, where I contribute to national and European research projects focused on explainable AI, hybrid human-AI systems, and user-centered design.
I also have industry experience as a Research Scientist in the United Kingdom, where I worked on software development projects with real-world applications. My work bridges academic research, technological innovation, and design practice.
I serve as Associate Editor for the journals Interacting with Computers and IEEE Transactions on Technology and Society, and I actively contribute to international research groups and scientific communities.
