• Co-editor of the “Journal of Management and Governance” and member of the editorial board of many other journals.
• Head of the Degree programme in “Economia aziendale” (Management), University of Pisa, from 2005 to 2013.
• Director of the Phd Program in “Economia Aziendale & Management” (jointly run by the Universities of Pisa, Florence and Sienna) from 2015 to 2017.
• External Examiner of some Phd theses at the Cass Business School (UK), University of Pretoria (Republic of South Africa), University of Victoria (Australia), Cape Town University (Republic of South Africa)
• Examiner in 2014, 2015 and 2016, 2018 and 2019 for South Africa’s National Research Foundation (NRF) in evaluating the quality of the research outputs.
• Conference Board Member of the “European Academic Conference on Internal Auditing and Corporate Governance”.
