Students who are not on track with their studies and/or not up to date with university fees at the time of application evaluation are not eligible.
For the activities offered in the first semester of the academic year 2025/2026, applications must be submitted using the online University form (https://forms.office.com/e/aC557biha4) by 1:00 p.m. on 10 September 2025. The form may be completed multiple times if applying for more than one course. The application must include:
Before the start of the activities, the Student Office will verify that all applications meet the eligibility requirements set out in the call.
If the number of applications that meet the requirements and any prerequisites exceeds the capacity established by the School, selection will be based on the following criteria:
In the event of a tie, preference will be given to applicants whose chosen course is more consistent with their individual study plan, as determined by a University committee appointed by Rector’s Decree.
The outcome of the selection process will be communicated to applicants via their institutional email address (name.surname@studenti.unipi.it). Successful candidates must register on the School’s Esse3 Web student platform: https://sssup.esse3.cineca.it.
Admitted students are required to comply with the same attendance, participation, and final examination rules as the School’s regular students.
At the end of the course, and upon successful completion of the final examination (if applicable), the School will issue a certificate confirming attendance, exam results, and the university credits earned in the relevant academic field.
Students from the University of Pisa (unless they are also enrolled at the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna) may apply for the recognition of credits earned at the School towards their degree. This request can be made directly when applying for admission by completing the online form. The application will then be reviewed by the student’s degree course at the University of Pisa, which will assess the consistency of the activity with the student’s study plan (pursuant to Article 10, paragraph 5(a) of Ministerial Decree 270/2004).
If the request for credit recognition is not submitted at the time of application, students may still request subsequent recognition of the credits earned at the School through the standard procedure. However, please note that in the absence of a prior resolution by the degree course, subsequent recognition of credits towards the degree cannot be guaranteed.
