If you already hold a degree and wish to enrol at the University of Pisa in an open-admission Bachelor’s or Single-cycle Master’s degree course, you must, by 31 December 2025:
- register your personal details on the Alice portal and log in to your reserved area
- select Scelta del corso (immatricolazioni) [Choose course – enrolments] from the menu
- on the Scelta tipo domanda di Immatricolazione [Choose type of enrolment application] page, select Abbreviazione di carriera [Recognition of previous studies]
- select the chosen course and enter the details of your previous studies
- print the enrolment form, sign it, and upload it again in the Allegati carriera [Career attachments] section of the Carriera page on the Alice portal
- if you have not applied for DSU benefits, proceed to pay the first instalment in the Tasse [Fees] section (details on payment methods available)
Within two working days of paying the first instalment (or of selecting your course if you applied for a scholarship) you will be enrolled in the chosen course, you will receive a confirmation email.
If your degree was awarded after 30 September 2025, no late fees will be applied.
You must then submit a request for recognition of previous qualifications.
The Board of the Degree Course decides on the validation of exams taken at your previous institution. The decision must be expressly accepted, and you may request a review within 30 days of acceptance. If you do not accept the decision, your enrolment will be cancelled and the rules on withdrawal from studies will apply.
