Student Services

Educational and specialised tutoring services

The university offers assistance with taking notes in class and finding teaching materials. For this purpose, part-time students who have applied for a special ranking list for USID are involved.
If necessary, alternative and customised ways of conducting tests and examinations are arranged.

Classroom and timetable scheduling

In collaboration with course organisers, efforts are made to find the best solutions to facilitate access to classrooms and facilities, and to allow full participation in all educational activities.

Accompanying and transport service

For students with mobility problems, a personal assistance service is available to provide transport between university facilities.

The service also has four vehicles equipped with lifts. If necessary, taxi vouchers valid within the city limits are also issued.

Technological aids

A counselling service on technological and IT tools to support different types of disabilities is available in collaboration with experts in the field.
There are equipped stations in the following libraries: Philosophy and History; Mathematics, Computer Science and Physics; Economics.

Financial and administrative support for stays abroad

USID regularly announces scholarships for study stays abroad. Currently, there are no open competitions for study stays abroad for students with disabilities.
The Erasmus/Erasmus+ mobility programme provides additional grants for students with disabilities. USID offers assistance with the administrative paperwork required to obtain the grant.
