Mauro Tucci was born in Rosario, Argentina, in 1981. He graduated in Automation Engineering in 2004, and he achieved the PH.D. in Applied Electromagnetics in 2008 at the University of Pisa. In 2010 he joined the Department of Electrical Systems and Automation of the University of Pisa.
Currently he is Associate professor at DESTEC, Univetsity of Pisa, where he teaches the courses of Diagnostics and Monitoring of Electrical Systems and Devices and Circuit Theory (Elettrotecnica).
Mauro Tucci is IEEE Senior Member, and he is author and coauthor of more than 80 papers published on international journals and on the proceedings of international conferences.
A significant research interest of Mauro Tucci is in Powerline Communications (PLC). Other research areas of Mauro Tucci are neural networks, signal analysis for nondestructive testing, transmission lines, nonlinear circuit analysis and uncertain parameters systems analysis, magnetic levitation systems, evolutionary optimization algorithms, forecasting, renewable energy production plants, and wireless power transfer.
