Admission requirements

For the enrolment in Second Cycle Degree Programs the admission requirements are the following:

  • University qualification approved by current laws
  • Curriculum requirements defined by the single Degree program regulations
  • Adequate personal skills to be assessed according to the single Degree program regulations

Information on curriculum requirements and on personal skills assessment are available at the relevant degree programs webpage.

Terms and procedures for admission request

Once submitted the admission request, the curriculum requirements and the personal skills will be assessed under the single Degree Program regulations.

Your admission request may be monitored on the Ammissionelm portal (log in with Alice user ID and password).

After positive assessment the enrolment in the selected degree program is automatic.

In absence of curriculum requirements, enrolment is not allowed.

The Degree Program Council will give instructions for the additional learning activities to fulfil the requirements up to 40 CFU: the acceptance of these additional learning activities will allow the enrolment in single Transition Courses.

Personal skills can be assessed as follows:

  • Admission without conditions to the degree program
  • Admission subject to a specific study program (within 120 CFU) with detailed learning activities: a study program can be changed within 30 days from enrolment
  • No admission to degree program with specific motivation: the Degree Program Council may decide for the fulfilment of personal skills by additional learning activities (up to 40 CFU) and suggest the enrolment in single Transition courses to achieve the required skills.

Terms and Procedures

To attend the online lessons that will be offered by the University of Pisa in the first semester of the academic year 2022/23, simply be registered on the Alice portal.

It is not necessary to submit an application on AMMISSIONELM as well.

Download the English version of the guide (here also in the Italian version) with useful information on how to find lesson times, virtual classrooms and references for which tools to use.

Before accessing the streaming platform where you can take the lessons – if you haven’t already done so – you have to activate the University of Pisa’s online services by proceeding with password recovery.

In case you have never used Microsoft Teams or Google Classroom/Meet platforms, read the guides explaining how to use these platforms to follow the lessons.

To access streaming platforms:

  1. Enter your University of Pisa email address (your Alice portal username followed by @studenti.unipi.it) and not a personal email address;
  2. You will be redirected to the University credentials portal where you can log in with your credentials (you must not add @studenti.unipi.it to the username).

Terms


The terms for enrollment in Second cycle degree programs start from 28 July until 30 December 2022 with no exemption and no possibility of late payment.

If having obtained a Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Pisa after 30 December 2022, pre-enrollment for a.y. 2023/2024 will be allowed in Single Transition Courses and university tuition fees will be calculated as for the Bachelor’s degree.

If having enrolled in Single Transition courses and fulfilled the required additional learning activities after 30 December 2022, the enrollment to single transition courses will last until the end of academic year (July 2023). Exams of the selected Degree program can be taken anyway.

The Enrollment in the Second cycle degree program will be confirmed within the enrollment period for a.y. 2023/2024 after first installment payment (or after submission of tuition fee temporary exemption application) by the date to be announced later.

Procedures for students graduated in other universities

If having graduated in another university, for enrollment in a Second cycle degree program you are required to:

  1. Sign up to Alice portal:
    1. enter your personal data
    2. upload a passport-sized photograph (check information on photo format)
    3. upload a scanned copy of your Identity Document in the “Secretariat - personal documents” section
    4. enter your High school data and university qualification in the Secretariat - State Exams section
    5. enter the degree data in the Secretariat - Qualifications section. If you haven't graduated yet, skip this step to complete the registration
    6. upload a copy of your Visa (ex art. 39, comma 5, Law Decree n. 286 of 25 July 1998), if you are a non EU student residing in Italy
    7. upload a copy of your study Visa (letter D, for residing more than 90 days, referring to the year for which enrollment is required) and receipt of Visa application submission, if you are a EU student not residing in Italy

The Second cycle degree Programs are not listed in the section “Choose your degree Program”. Your admission request will be assessed by the Degree Program Council

2. Log in to the Ammissionelm portal:

1) use Alice user ID and password
2) Choose one of the following options:

• Standard enrollment (if having a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification)
Relocation from another University (if enrolled in a degree program of another university)
Degree program shortening (if having already obtained a university degree of the same level i.e. Master’s Degree, Second cycle Degree or a university degree prior reform)

3) under Law 183/2011, a self-certification of University degree will be required along with list of passed exams, credits and scientific sectors (not requested for university degrees prior reform).Self-certification must be signed
4) upload other relevant documents for the admission request assessment (Foreign Language certifications, further passed exams in other courses…). Self-certification must be signed
5) check the Further requirements webpage to verify any possible further document required for the selected Degree Program
6) If having obtained the University qualification abroad, all documents are required under provisions of the Ministry for University and Research “Procedures For Entry, Residency And Enrolment At Higher Education Institutions For international Students For Higher Education Courses In Italy, a.y. 2020-2021”.

Enrollment

Once submitted the admission request, the curriculum requirements and the personal skills will be assessed.

Your admission request may be monitored on the Ammissionelm portal.

After the admission resolution, enrollment will be completed as follows:

  • By payment of Tuition fees First instalment by 30 December 2022

    or
  • By submitting the receipt of DSU Scholarship application in compliance with dispositions of the ARDSU

    or
  • By uploading on Alice portal (Secreteriat - Declaration of invalidity) the relevant documents certifying the tuition fees exemption (certification of invalidity equal or superior to 66% or a certification of disability pursuant to Law n. 104/1992 art. 3, co. 1).

If the assessment of curriculum requirements and/0r personal skills is not disclosed by 14 december 2022, enrollment may be confirmed within 15 days from the resolution notice.

Exams are not allowed until enrollment confirmation.

After positive assessment of personal skills and curriculum requirements, enrollment will be completed:

  • On the date following the university qualification (only for students of the University of Pisa having required for admission during Bachelor’s degree graduation application)
  • On the enrollment registration date by the Secretariat

If a test or interview or the enrollment in single transition courses is required, the enrollment will be completed:

  • On the date of the last acquisition of curriculum requirements and/or personal skills assessment or by the 30 December 2022. After this deadline enrollment in a second cycle degree program will be completed the opening of enrollment for a.y. 2023/2024 and the new enrollment request will be assessed in accordance with the current degree programs.

The additional learning activities already attended in previous study programs or in single Transition Courses for the curriculum requirements fulfillment won’t be acquired in the Second cycle degree program.

Please note: If the assessment of curriculum requirements and/or personal skills is not disclosed by 14 December 2022, after enrollment confirmation within 30 days from the date of the resolution notice, the request for tuition fees reduction can be submitted both for enrollment in a second cycle degree program and single Transition Courses.

Tuition fees first installment refund will be provided:

  • In case of negative assessment of personal skills with no possibility to fulfill them with Single Transition courses
  • In the event of a student dropping out of the proposed Single Transition courses
  • If curriculum requirements lack is higher than 40 CFU
  • In the event of student waiver before curriculum requirements and/or personal skills assessment or within 15 days from enrollment completion.

Tuition fees First installment refund won’t be performed if necessary for the Bachelor’s Degree qualification.

Programma IISMA

L'Università di Pisa partecipa, per il quarto anno consecutivo, al programma IISMA - Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards, dopo avere superato la selezione del Ministero indonesiano dell'Istruzione, della Cultura, della Ricerca e della Tecnologia (MoECRT).

Il programma IISMA prevede l'assegnazione di borse di studio da parte del governo indonesiano agli studenti più meritevoli per svolgere un semestre presso le migliori università estere selezionate ogni anno.

Per quanto riguarda il percorso universitario, il programma mira a fornire agli studenti, anche grazie al contatto con realtà accademiche e culturali internazionali, alcune soft skills importanti nel mondo del lavoro come: sense-making, intelligenza sociale, pensiero innovativo e adattivo, competenza interculturale, pensiero computazionale, alfabetizzazione ai nuovi media, transdisciplinarità, mentalità progettuale, gestione del carico cognitivo e collaborazione virtuale.

Nell'a.a. 2024/2025, l'Università di Pisa ha accolto, nel primo semestre, 26 studenti selezionati dal MoECRT e provenienti da diverse università dell'Indonesia, che saranno immatricolati come free mover.

Go2Rail - Sostegno dei "viaggi GREEN"

Nata nell’ecosistema imprenditoriale dell’Università di Bologna e di EIT Climate-KIC, Go2Rail è una startup che promuove comportamenti di viaggio sostenibili facilitando il networking tra le comunità universitarie europee e supportando l'organizzazione di viaggi di gruppo in treno a prezzi vantaggiosi per studentesse e studenti.

Go2Rail supporta la creazione di reti tra studenti (dottorandi inclusi) diretti verso la stessa destinazione di scambio all'estero con due scopi principali:

  • metterli in contatto per condividere informazioni e dubbi sul periodo di scambio;
  • rivoluzionare l'esperienza di viaggio internazionale promuovendo il treno come mezzo di trasporto condiviso, economico (sconti per gruppi) e divertente!

Al momento, il tipo di viaggio proposto da Go2Rail è focalizzato sulla tratta dall’Italia a Lione e Parigi e viceversa.

Dal 21 marzo 2023, sono riaperti i termini per la presentazione delle candidature per lo svolgimento di mobilità per tirocinio nell'ambito del Bando Erasmus KA131-Extra UE 2022 - mobilità studentesca verso i Paesi terzi non associati al Programma. 

Gli studenti interessati potranno presentare la propria domanda di candidatura online attraverso il Form dedicato, disponibile al link: https://forms.office.com/r/bePteNnACf, per concorrere all'assegnazione degli 86 mesi residui, sui 130 mesi totali, per lo svolgimento di mobilità per traineeship sia verso UK, sia verso gli altri Paesi terzi non associati al Programma.

La scadenza per la presentazione delle domande è fissata alle ore 12 di martedì 4 aprile 2023

È pubblicato il Bando Erasmus KA131-Extra UE 2022 per lo svolgimento di mobilità studentesca verso i Paesi terzi non associati al Programma.

Il Programma europeo Erasmus+ attraverso la KA 131 mobilità Extra UE consente a studenti universitari di svolgere, fin dal primo anno di studi, un periodo di studio e tirocinio (traineeship) nei Paesi terzi non associati al programma (extra europei) in base ad accordi già stabiliti con le università o le sedi ospitanti, conseguendo crediti formativi (CFU) con la garanzia di ottenere il riconoscimento delle attività svolte all’estero.

Le attività all'estero dovranno essere svolte nel periodo compreso tra il 15 settembre 2022 e il 31 ottobre 2023.

La domanda di candidatura, alla quale accedere con le credenziali di Ateneo, dovrà essere compilata e presentata esclusivamente online attraverso il Form dedicato disponibile al link: https://forms.office.com/r/bePteNnACf

La scadenza per la presentazione della domanda di candidatura online è fissata alle ore 12 del trentesimo giorno successivo alla data di pubblicazione del Bando all'albo ufficiale di Ateneo (ore 12.00 del 18 luglio 2022), pena l’esclusione della candidatura.

Contest: Il Tuo Erasmus con ESN 2024

Erasmus Student Network Italia, rete di associazioni di cui fa parte anche ESN Pisa, intende sostenere gli studenti universitari outgoing fornendo ai più meritevoli un incentivo concreto alla loro mobilità all'estero.

Con il contest Il Tuo Erasmus con ESN (ITECE) - uno dei suoi progetti più importanti, giunto quest'anno alla XII edizione -  ESN Italia mette in palio 1 premio dell'importo di 1000 euro 2 premi dell'importo di 500 euro ciascuno, che andranno a integrare e incrementare il supporto economico già erogato agli studenti outgoing per la loro mobilità: il premio si sommerà infatti ai contributi regolarmente erogati dall'università di appartenenza e/o dalla Commissione Euroea agli studenti assegnatari di contributi Erasmus o relativi ad altri programmi di mobilità internazionale.

La scadenza per l'iscrizione al contest, da effettuare attraverso l'apposito form online, è fissata alle ore 23:59 del 23 giugno 2024.

Il Tuo Erasmus con ESN 2024 si svolgerà lunedì 8 luglio 2024 alle ore 13:00 

 

 

L’oggetto del contest consiste nella redazione di un saggio breve su tematiche relative all’Europa, all’Unione Europea o alla mobilità studentesca internazionale.

La traccia verrà comunicata direttamente in sede di prova e dal momento della pubblicazione i partecipanti avranno 3 ore di tempo (o 4 se hanno presentato in fase di iscrizione specifica certificazione di DSA o disabilità) per procedere alla redazione dell’elaborato.

Il contest gode del supporto dell'Agenzia Nazionale Erasmus+/INDIRE. Una Commissione di III livello, che si occuperà dell’individuazione degli elaborati vincitori, sarà composta da personalità provenienti da istituzioni quali la Rappresentanza italiana della Commissione Europea, l’Agenzia Nazionale per i Giovani e la stessa Agenzia Nazionale Ersmus+/INDIRE, nonché dal mondo della cultura.

Indonesian students - IISMA Programme

The IISMA - Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards is a programme offered by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia to fund Indonesian students for mobility programs at top universities and reputable industries overseas.

Thanks to IISMA, Indonesian students can spend one semester to some of the best universities abroad and have the chance to acquire soft skills required for a future job as for example: sense-making, social intelligence, novel & adaptive thinking, cross-cultural competency, computational thinking, new-media literacy, transdisciplinarity, design mindset, cognitive load management, and virtual collaboration.

Overall, IISMA will expose Indonesian students to international academic and cultural diversity. The scheme is centrally managed by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (MoECRT). 

In the academic year 2024/2025, the University of Pisa welcomed 26 students in the first semester selected by the MoeCRT and coming from different universities in Indonesia. The students will be enrolled as free movers.
