  • diretta streaming della lezione o dell’attività didattica;
  • messa a disposizione, su canale eventualmente riservato, della registrazione della lezione o dell’attività didattica svolta “in presenza” o, in alternativa, pre-registrata.

2) Tirocini

a. TIROCINIO IN PRESENZA

b. TIROCINIO A DISTANZA

In particolare:

Tirocini curriculari in ambito nazionale

  • lo svolgimento del tirocinio con modalità della prestazione a distanza sia compatibile con i contenuti del progetto formativo;
  • vi sia il consenso del tirocinante;

  • studente/studentessa con disabilità;
  • studente internazionale o Erasmus incoming.

Complementary indications updated to the Rectoral Decree of 30/04/2022

After the enactment of Rectoral Decree no. 737/2022 of last April 30, the University of Pisa has published and disseminated the new Anti-contagion Safety Protocol and the most recent Complementary indications, effective from May 1, 2022.

Following the Ministerial Guidelines for the resumption of economic and social activities, the University of Pisa has identified a series of measures for the containment of Covid-19, of which some extracts of particular interest for international students are reported below. However, please refer to Anti-contagion Safety Protocol and the Complementary indications for more detailed information.

International mobility

In compliance with national legislation, incoming and outgoing mobility "in person" is allowed, including that relating to teachers and technical administrative staff, within the Erasmus+ programs and any other international mobility program or initiative.

Students, teachers, and technical administrative staff in INCOMING mobility, both for study and for carrying out internships, are required to comply with the anti-contagion security measures provided for by Italian legislation and those adopted by the University of Pisa.

In the case of Erasmus mobility to non-EU countries where there are no specific agreements for health coverage and in all cases of mobility outside the Erasmus Program, each participant must undertake a compulsory international health insurance policy for the mobility period, which expressly provides for coverage from the biological risk of Covid-19 and that also covers any hospitalization costs, if information acquired through the dedicated sites and the ASL shows that the destination country does not ensure such health coverage.

International students

1) Didactic activities:

All the teaching activities organized by the University, both frontal and practical (laboratories, seminars, exercises, projects, and other practical activities), take place "in person" in compliance with the measures contained in the Anti-contagion Safety Protocol, the availability of spaces and with the possible shifting of students in the most populated courses. With the handling of spaces, priority is given to lectures and practical and laboratory activities related to the three-year, master's, single-cycle and specialization degree courses, exams and final tests.

The teacher must however ensure the “remote” accessibility of lectures and other educational activities in which the University's educational offer is articulated through one of the following options:

  • live streaming of the lesson or teaching activity;
  • making available, on any reserved channel, the recording of the lesson or the teaching activity carried out "in person" or pre-recorded.

2) Internships

a. FACE-TO-FACE INTERNSHIP

The internships take place "in person", both in the spaces of the University and in compliance with the Anti-contagion Safety Protocol of the University of Pisa, and outside, in compliance with the Anti-contagion Safety Protocol of the third party institution/company.

For curricular and extracurricular internships that take place in the University spaces, the host structure must provide the trainee with adequate information on the requirements of the Anti-Contagion Safety Protocol of the University of Pisa, to which the trainee must comply.

b. REMOTE LEARNING

It is possible to carry out internships remotely, including those necessary for access to regulated professions, where not excluded by current legislation. Especially:

Curricular internships at the national level

It is always possible to carry out remote internships in study courses, provided that the study course council certifies that the remote activities implemented, of whatever nature, allow the achievement of the training objectives and the purposes envisaged for the internship. For internships started or restarted before 3 September 2021, the faculty is granted to the Study Course Councils, with a specific resolution, to consider them concluded, with the consequent full acquisition of the relative credits, if at least 70% of the hours originally established have been carried out and the training objectives and the purposes of the internship have been achieved. This must have been acknowledged in the aforementioned resolution, usually through the acquisition of the final report from the host institution, or in any other manner assessed as appropriate.

Extracurricular internships at the national level for recent graduates

It is possible to start new remote internships, for which the University of Pisa is the host or proposer, provided that the following conditions are met:

  • the carrying out of the internship with remote performance methods is compatible with the contents of the training project;
  • there is consent from the trainee;
  • following a specific agreement between the proposing subject and the University of Pisa (if the host) or between the University as the proposer and the host institution/company.

3) Exams

The exams are held "in person", in accordance with the availability of adequate spaces and in compliance with all the measures established by the Anti-contagion Safety Protocol of the University of Pisa. In the planning of the exams, priority must be given to performance in written and practical tests over the oral ones. The exams are held in adequate spaces, indoors or outdoors, made available to the University, which complies with all the measures established by the Anti-contagion Safety Protocol.

In any case, it is mandatory to guarantee the possibility for students to carry out the exams remotely in the following cases:

  • Students with disabilities;
  • international student or incoming Erasmus student.

The request to carry out the remote exam can be submitted at the time of filling in the registration form for the exam or, after the closing of the registration deadline, by filling out the appropriate form available at the following link: http://su.unipi.it/DichiarazioneEsameRemoto

Remote exams are held using videoconferencing platforms or, in case of connectivity difficulties, via telephone video call, provided that they can ensure the simultaneous connection between participants on an equal footing.
During the remote test, it is forbidden to make an audio/video recording through the computer platforms used. It is also forbidden for anyone to make an audio/video recording of the exam. The platforms made available by the University comply with the legislation on the processing of personal data (as is all data recorded within the University network). The conduction of the examination session via the platform must be carried out in compliance with the legislation for the protection of image confidentiality. The publicity of the remote test must be guaranteed by inviting all the candidates to the session through a link to the event. Furthermore, the connection to the online session must also be allowed for students not enrolled in the specific session.
