Verification of the adequacy of the student's personal preparation in meeting the curricular requirements (pursuant to Art. 6(2) of Ministerial Decree 270/04) and verification of the student's knowledge of English are compulsory. They are carried out, after pre-registration, by a special Panel appointed by the Course Board. The activities of this Panel are defined by the University Academic Regulations.
Verification of the adequacy of the student's personal preparation is carried out by means of an examination of the CV and possibly a written test.
The student's CV must contain the following essential exams:
- an exam in Business Administration II or equivalent;
An exam to choose from Corporate Strategy and Business Policy, Programming and Control, or Cost Analysis and Accounting or equivalent;
- one exam to choose from Business Organisation or Human Resources Management or equivalent.
It is the task of the Course Panel (Commissione Pratiche Studenti) to check the CV of each student applying for enrolment for the presence of these compulsory exams, and to indicate (where necessary, and possibly requesting the syllabus of the subjects) the necessary equivalent exams.
The English language proficiency level is checked by considering the following:
- the presence of at least 9 CFUs of language activities related to English in the student's CV;
- possession of a degree from a course of study delivered in English;
- the submission by the student of a recognised language certificate (Cambridge Language Certificate, IELTS Academic, Toefl or recognised equivalent certificates) attesting to a level of English language proficiency of at least B2.

(a) attainment of a Bachelor's degree mark of at least 98/110;
b) attainment of an average mark (weighted according to credits) of at least 26/30 calculated by taking into account the mark obtained in the Business Economics II exam (or equivalent exam) and in the two exams with the highest mark among those envisaged in the lists of compulsory courses.
In the event that the student does not meet any of the above criteria, verification of the adequacy of the individual's preparation will take place by means of a written test covering topics related to the content of the compulsory exams.
Depending on the outcome of the test, admission, non-admission or admission conditional on the completion of a given course of study within the degree programme may be decided. Non-admission must be adequately justified.
Details of the topics covered by the test, bibliographical references, the minimum score for admission and information on how the test will be conducted will be made available and can be consulted on the website of the Course of Study. The test will be given at least three times a year according to a schedule that will be defined at the beginning of each calendar year. Please note that only students who have applied for admission and whose application has been submitted on the University's LM Admissions portal will be allowed to take the admission test.
