The Specialty Schools at the University of Pisa are active in the following fields:
- Health Field for graduates in Medicine and Surgery and for graduates in other health professions (not medical doctors). Duration: 4 to 6 years.
- Veterinary Field for graduates in Veterinary Medicine. Duration: 3 years
- Field of protection, management and enhancement of cultural heritage for graduates in historical-artistic and archaeological disciplines. Duration: 2 years
- Field of legal professions for graduates in Law. Duration: 2 years
The number of places available for each Specialty School is limited, and they are allocated each year through public competition procedures.
To participate, you must have obtained a Master’s Degree or an academic qualification corresponding to a Single-Cycle Master’s Degree under the Italian system.
Medical doctors must also have passed the professional examination.

- Participation requirements and any differences between graduates from EU countries and graduates from non-EU countries
