For the purposes of enrollment, non-EU citizens residing in Italy with a residence permit as per Article 39, paragraph 5, of Legislative Decree 286/1998 are treated as EU citizens. To enroll, they must upload their residence permit (even if expired) on the Alice portal. The receipt of the application or renewal alone is not sufficient.
The deadlines for registration are as follows:
Master’s Degree Courses from 24 July to 31 December 2024.
Open-admission Bachelor’s and Single-Cycle Master’s Degree Courses:
After 31 December 2024 it will not be possible to register.

You can apply for certification via the DIPLOME platform reserved for students intending to enrol in a course at the University of Pisa. Create a personal account. In your profile you will find all the information on how to apply for certificates and the documentation you must submit. It will be possible to follow the status of requests and view certificates in pdf format in the “My Services” section.
Both documents must show at least 12 years of schooling and the qualification must allow access to university in the country where it was obtained

In order to assess whether an Italian translation of the list of passed examinations and the relevant syllabuses is necessary, you can contact the president of the course you wish to enrol in. For a prior assessment of your qualifications, you can send an e-mail to the president of your chosen course of study.
After the administrative check, the Board of the degree course will evaluate your application. If the application is accepted, you will be notified of your admission via email and on Ammissionelm, with instructions on how to complete your registration.

To apply for a Master’s Degree Course in English, the first step is to access the Dedicated Portal, register and submit your application. After your application has been accepted, you can proceed with enrolment through the Alice and Admissionelm portals as described for Master’s Degree Courses in Italian.
For assistance, you can contact the WIS! service, which is active from 18 July 2024 to 28 February 2025. The service is not available from 1 to 21 August.
