Pre-registration on Universitaly – No EU citizenship

Applicants interested in study courses of the University of Pisa must access the UniversItaly portal and complete the pre-registration application.

The University examines the applications and may request additional documents for evaluation. After validating the application, the University enters the data on the UniversItaly portal.

Once confirmation of validation has been received, the applicant must contact the Italian diplomatic office competent for their country of residence abroad and follow the instructions for requesting the type D study visa for study/university enrolment.

Attention: acceptance by the University of Pisa does not guarantee obtaining a visa, which depends exclusively on the diplomatic/consular Mission.

The University of Pisa does not set specific deadlines for pre-registration on UniversItaly, except for those indicated in the calls for restricted-access courses. It is advisable to pre-register as early as possible so that the visa can be issued in time for registration.

It is only possible to request a study visa after receiving confirmation of the validation of the pre-registration application from the University of Pisa.

Any updates will be published on this page.
