The learning objectives of this Master are all aimed at improving the
interventional radiologists (IRs) involvement in the multidisciplinary
meetings (MDMs) by providing the IRs with the tools and skills to
present the growing scientific evidence for interventional radiology
(IR) therapies to their MDMs, and address the gap where IRs excel
scientifically but may lack soft skill training experience for effective
interaction with patients and colleagues
Career opportunities
IRs are highly skilled in procedural techniques and patient care but
often lack specific training in effective communication within the
multidisciplinary team. This course addresses this gap by equipping IRs
with the tools and strategies needed to present the latest scientific
evidence on IR therapies. By enhancing their communication skills, IRs
can engage more meaningfully in, and lead, decision-making processes
within the MDM.
