At the centre of the postgraduate degree course are highly qualified athletes with their needs at different stages of their careers, during regular training and in the event of an injury. The various professional roles involved will find specific modules to enhance their skills.

The postgraduate degree course provides the tools to manage athletes during the competitive season, exploring the latest protocols for improving physical qualities, and to manage injuries, where practice follows the different healthcare pathways, from surgery to rehabilitation to return-to-play.

The course allows students to enhance their specific skills, understand and engage in the interdisciplinary work related to modern athletes, and develop the ability to share common goals, essential qualities for effective teamwork in the sports field.

Career opportunities

The postgraduate degree course offers a specialisation title that opens up opportunities in sports centres, federal training facilities, physiotherapy and rehabilitation institutes, and public and private clinics in the fields of orthopaedics and Sports Medicine. It also allows graduates to work directly with individual athletes or sport teams.
