The postgraduate degree course Scalability: Digital Technologies and Company Growth is an advanced training programme designed for entrepreneurs, managers and professionals who want to lead and structure the growth of their own business or support expanding companies.
Through a strategic and operational approach, the course provides tools to address the challenges of scaling up a business, covering fundamental aspects such as the business model, governance, organisational processes and financing strategies.
Participants will acquire skills to:
- analyse the growth potential of the company in relation to the reference market and business model
- identify obstacles to growth and develop strategies to overcome them
- build consensus and governance at a strategic level
- support negotiations with owners, investors and institutions
- design organisational structures and reporting systems to support company growth
- align the company with objectives and values oriented towards sustainable and inclusive growth.
The postgraduate degree course is jointly offered by the four Tuscan universities: University of Pisa, University of Florence, University of Siena and Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna.
Career opportunities
The postgraduate degree course is not intended for recent graduates looking for their first job, but for entrepreneurs and professionals in leadership roles who want to accelerate the growth of their companies or take on top executive positions.
Graduates will be able to take on key roles in various contexts as:
- business owners and entrepreneurs who want to scale up their business, structuring the growth process and preparing the company for expansion operations, mergers, acquisitions or internationalisation
Fees

Regular students:
5400 € payable in 3 instalments
- 2160 € no later than 27 January 2025
- 1620 € no later than 15 April 2025
- 1620 € no later than 15 June 2025
Auditors: 2700 € in a single installment
Tuition fee reductions are available for 5 students, awarded based on income and merit criteria.
