The postgraduate degree course Tecnico Veterinario offers theoretical and practical training in the health management of small animals, exotic species, wildlife and large animals.
It trains professionals to work as veterinary technicians, whose role is to assist veterinary doctors in:
- clinical and surgical procedures
- the preparation of workspaces
- administration and management.
Furthermore, the course develops teamwork skills and equips students with the tools necessary for effective communication.
A traineeship at the Ospedale Didattico Veterinario is included in the programme.
Career opportunities
Veterinary technicians can find employment as veterinary assistants in practices, clinics and veterinary hospitals.

In person
Regular students:
2000 € payable in 2 instalments
- 800 € no later than 01 December 2024
- 1200 € no later than 15 June 2025
Tuition fee reductions are available for 8 students, awarded based on income and merit criteria.
