The postgraduate degree course Igiene Industriale, Prevenzione e Sicurezza equips students with professional skills in the field of workplace prevention and safety, training professionals capable of identifying, measuring, evaluating, and correcting the conditions of work environments characterised by the presence of hazardous agents or conditions, in order to protect the health and safety of workers.
The postgraduate degree course is highly vocational and allows students to obtain certification as Head of the Prevention and Protection Service (RSPP) and Worker for the Prevention and Protection Service (ASPP) in companies within ATECO A (Agriculture, forestry and fishing), ATECO C (Manufacturing activities) and ATECO Q (Health and social care).
Educational activities are carried out by industry professionals (AIDII - Italian Association of Industrial Hygienists, AUSL, INAIL, expert consultants), and only partially by university lecturers. Furthermore, there are agreements with companies for traineeships — essential to achieve training objectives — throughout the entire national area.
Career opportunities
As of November 2024, data show that more than half of the participants from the last four editions of the postgraduate degree course are now employed, either on permanent or fixed-term contracts, by the companies where they completed their traineeship, or have successfully started their professional careers.

- in chemical laboratories specialising in the analysis of pollutants
- in industrial hygiene services
- in consultancy companies and service providers
- as freelance professionals, risk managers, prevention officers, safety managers.
Fees
In person
Regular students:
3500 € payable in 3 instalments
- 1400 € no later than 26 January 2025
- 600 € no later than 15 April 2025
- 1500 € no later than 15 June 2025
Auditors: 1050 € in a single installment
Tuition fee reductions are available for 13 students, awarded based on income and merit criteria.
