The postgraduate degree course Agritech EU trains professionals capable of leading the digital transition in the agricultural sector, with a strong focus on sustainability.
The training programme allows students to:
- acquire the principles, concepts and terminology of digital agriculture
- understand the main technological solutions for digital agriculture and their evolution
- acquire the ability to manage digital agriculture tools
- acquire the ability to interact with technology suppliers and developers for the design and selection of innovative applications
- acquire the ability to assess the socio-economic impact of digital technologies
The postgraduate degree course has a multi-actor and multi-disciplinary approach that links academia, research organisations, SMEs, private for-profit entities, NGOs, and development agencies. It adopts a learning-by-doing approach with laboratories, study sessions, e-learning courses, and has an international vocation, as it is delivered in English.
The postgraduate degree course is aimed at students from both ICT courses and agriculture and veterinary medicine courses. Graduates will be able to fill any gaps in ICT or agricultural knowledge through specially designed introductory modules.
Career opportunities
The postgraduate degree course trains two distinct but complementary professional profiles:
- the agricultural professional who needs to specialise in the identification and application of advanced technologies to optimise business processes and meet the specific needs of agricultural enterprises, and who acquires the necessary language to interact with the technology provider
- the technology provider aiming to specialise in the development, adaptation and implementation of innovative, tailor-made solutions for the agricultural sector.

Regular students:
4000 € payable in 3 instalments
- 1600 € no later than 03 January 2025
- 400 € no later than 15 April 2025
- 2000 € no later than 15 June 2025
Auditors: 2000 € in a single installment
Tuition fee reductions are available for 30 students, awarded based on income and merit criteria.
