The research activities primarily focus on durability and aging of composite materials for aerospace and aeronautical applications. He has participated in numerous French national research projects (ANR, Nouvelle Aquitaine Region), as well as international ones (EU, M-ERA.net). He has concluded several private contracts with SAFRAN Aircraft Engines, SAFRAN Composites, SAFRAN Nacelles, AIRBUS Operations, AIRBUS IW, ARKEMA, ONERA, DLR, and RESCOLL. He is a member of the Editorial Board of Composites Science and Technology (Elsevier), Science and Engineering of Composite Materials (De Gruyter), Advances in Aircraft and Spacecraft Science (Technopress), Frontiers in Polymer Chemistry, and Frontiers in Materials, and is a scientific editor for the Durability and Ageing of Organic Composite Materials series for ISTE-Wiley. He has conducted review activities for numerous scientific journals and offered expertise for research entities, H2020 FET-RIA, ERC, ANR, IRT Jules Verne, MUR, ANVUR, and NEXT. He has received several awards for his research activities, including the Prime d’Excellence Scientifique from the University of Poitiers, the 2010 Daniel Valentin Award from the French Composite Materials Association, and the Pierre et Marie Curie Young Researcher Award (EU).
