SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH ACTIVITY
Evaluation of bioactive compounds in crop species typical of the Mediterranean area when subjected to different pedo-climatic/agronomic/post-harvest factors, with the aim to increase their nutraceutical values and shelf life following eco-friendly and sustainable approaches. Assessment of ecological and biochemical mechanisms used by plants to deal with abiotic stresses through specific secondary metabolites production.
