Andrea Lucchi obtained the PHD in "Bioecology of entomophagous insects and biocontrol in the agro-ecosystems" in 1991 at the University of Perugia (Italy). Assistant Professor at the University of Pisa since 1997, Associate Professor from 2016 to 2018, he is currently Full Professor at the same University, where he teaches "Viticultural Entomology", "Agricultural Entomology, and "New Approaches for the control of grapevine pests". Since September 2021, Andrea is President of the University Course in "Viticulture and Enology" at the University of Pisa. He is Author of 308 publications (96 Scopus), 5 chapters in international books, and 1 University Book "Note di Entomologia viticola".
