The University of Pisa, the Community of Sant’Egidio Livorno and Pisa OdV established an agreement to enhance the quality of university education for students from Third Countries.
In fact, the underlying idea is to strengthen the dialogue between the Parties and lay the foundations of a long-term partnership system, based on the principles of solidarity, social utility, protection of human, civil, social and political rights, protection of equal opportunities, right to education, reception and social integration of migrants, support, including economic support, to individuals in disadvantaged conditions.
As part of the agreement, the Corridoi Universitari Pisani Project will be implemented, with the aim of creating advanced training opportunities for students from countries affected by war, civil conflict or severe human rights violations.
The project includes the provision of financial support to attend Master’s degree courses in English at the University of Pisa , in addition to the support already provided by the University.
