The objective of the Foundation is to establish and provide financial assistance in the form of prizes, scholarships and other benefits to students and graduates of the University of Pisa who have demonstrated academic excellence and/or financial need. This is to be achieved through the Foundation’s own initiatives and through participation in initiatives of third parties, organisations, public administrations and private entities.

The Foundation, which is headquartered in Pisa at Lungarno Pacinotti 43, was established by public deed (Repertory no. 5615 – Collection no. 2748 at the Notary C. Calderoni in Pisa), and was duly registered at the Revenue Office on 2 January 2009.
