The University of Pisa acts as the representative organisation in the collaborative agreement signed at the beginning of 2020 between the in-house science service of the European Commission (JRC) and the Pisan research institutions: the University of Pisa; ScuolaNormaleSuperiore; ScuolaSuperioreSant'Anna; the Pisa offices of the National Research Council, the National Institute of Nuclear Physics and the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology; and the European Gravitational Observatory. The agreement provides for the long-term and effective collaboration of the institutions involved with the JRC, enabling them to contribute to the understanding and resolution of common research problems
