Second Cycle Degree Programmes

EU citizens - or non-EU citizens with a regular Residency permit – wishing to enrol in a Master's Degree Programme at the University of Pisa, are required to:

  • Register on the web portal ALICE, entering personal data and getting individual credentials;
  • Personally hand over, by 31 December 2019, at the WIS! Helpdesk "Welcome International Student!", the following documents:
    • The original version and a photocopy of the Bachelor’s Degree
    • Official translation of the academic qualification into Italian, legalised (or with an "apostille") and validated by the Italian diplomatic authorities in their home country with the Declaration of Value (DV) (Dichiarazione di Valore) of the Bachelor’s Degree issued by the Italian diplomatic authorities in their home country. Alternatively, the ENIC-NARIC certificate is accepted (in Italian or English language). Alternatively, the Diploma Supplement is accepted. Please include photocopies of all documents
    • The University transcript of Records with a list of all the exams completed abroad, and its official translation* into Italian. Please include photocopies of all documents
    • The courses description on University letterhead or University sealed paper (original version and official translation into Italian*)
    • The enrolment form (FORIM)
    • A passport size photo
    • A valid ID card and its photocopy
    • The payment receipt of the first instalment of the tuition fees (€ 340.00 to be paid at the Post Office on account no. 150565 - Università di Pisa, description "RA119”) or the receipt of DSU scholarship application, in case the requirements are fulfilled
    • A 16 Euros revenue stamp (“Marca da bollo” - on sale at Tabacchi shops)

* Please, contact the President of the Degree Programme you selected to assess if the Italian translation is required.


  • If you wish to enrol in a Master’s Degree Programme, admission depends on the possession of specific academic requirements. For further information on the requirements, please visit the webpages Admission to Second Cycle Degree Programmes and Degree programmes. If you need a preliminary assessment of your current qualification, please email the President of the selected Degree Programme.
  • If you wish to enrol in a Master's Degree Programme held in English, we recommend you to visit the dedicated webpage and learn about the procedure, deadlines and academic requirements for admission.

After 20 December 2019 enrolment in a. y. 2019/20 shall not be possible.


From 25 July up to 18 October 2019, the WIS! Helpdesk is at the Matricoladosi centre, Via Buonarroti 4 Pisa - building E. Opening from Monday to Friday, 09.00 am - 12.00 pm.
