The University of Pisa has confirmed its place among the world’s leading universities in the QS World University Rankings 2027. The University ranks 341st globally, a slight improvement on the 343rd position achieved in the previous edition, and retains seventh place in Italy.
This result reinforces the University of Pisa’s international standing in a ranking that assessed more than 8,800 universities across 106 countries and territories.
The University’s performance is driven above all by indicators related to the quality and impact of scientific research, which continue to represent some of its key strengths.
Positive signs also emerge from the reputation indicators. Employer Reputation, which measures the institution’s standing among employers, rose by 49 positions compared with the previous edition, while Academic Reputation improved by 6 positions, confirming the University’s growing international visibility.
