Around 90 international students joined the second edition of the University of Pisa’s Welcome Day, held on Thursday, October 2nd, and organized by the WIS! team. The event was designed especially for students enrolling in bachelor’s, master’s, and single-cycle degree programs, offering practical information about university life and available services.
The participants were welcomed by the staff of the International Office and student ambassadors, who offered support, answered questions, and facilitated students’ orientation on campus.
Among the attendees, the largest group came from Pakistan, followed by students from Tunisia and India. In terms of study programs, about 80% were enrolled in master’s degrees or postgraduate programs, while the rest were starting bachelor’s degrees.
Enrollment for international students will remain open until December 31st.
