Since February 2018, the University has offered, via the Research and Technology Transfer Services Department, a support service for the drafting of proposals in response to calls for the funding of research projects, in particular the Horizon 2020 programme, taking on six fixed-term technicians with European project planning skills pertaining to the three ERC sectors: Life Sciences, Physical Sciences and Engineering, and Social Sciences and Humanities. Specifically, the service can help by:
- identifying open calls and assessing the degree of correspondence between the proposed idea and the objectives of the call;
- actively collaborating in the drafting of the proposal, in particular, but not limited to, the writing of the sections relating to Impact and Implementation;
- providing analysis of evaluation reports with a view to a new submission;
- providing assistance in the preparation of the project budget;
- supporting the coordination of partners, when the University of Pisa is the lead partner.
