The Brazilian Army in Italy during WW2

On 27 April at 10.00, in the Aula Magna of the Department of Political Science, dr Vinicius de Carvalho, professor in Brazilian and Latin American Studies at King's College London, will hold a conversation with Alice Martini, post-doc researcher at the Department of Economics and Management of the University of Pisa, on "The Brazilian Army in Italy during WW2”.

The event is mainly addressed to students, but it is also open to the general public.

Vinicius de Carvalho is Vice Dean (International) for the Faculty of Social Science & Public Policy at King’s College, and between 2020 and 2022, he was director of King’s Brazil Institute. At the War Studies Department, he is the Convener of the MA in Strategic Communications and teaches UG modules on Latin America issues. Dr Carvalho is also Academic Chair Programme Coordinator of Circle U., the European Alliance that gathers nine prestigious universities: Aarhus University (Denmark), Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin (Germany), King’s College London (United Kingdom), Université Paris Cité (France), University of Belgrade (Serbia), University of Louvain (Belgium), University of Oslo (Norway), Università di Pisa (Italy) and Universität Wien (Austria).
