Genetics of Industrial Microorganisms

The 14th edition of the International Symposium on the Genetics of Industrial Microorganisms (GIM 2019) will be held in Pisa on 8-11 September 2019.

GIM 2019 will focus on the most recent advances in the microbial sciences related to industrially relevant microorganism as producers of bioactive molecules, of fine chemicals, of flavors, etc., and to be used as whole cells for health and wellbeing. The applied sciences will be complemented by advances in understanding fundamental processes that underpin how microbial cells behave in industrial settings and in the natural environment and how they produce molecules. The conference will also cover new tools and approaches.

The conference is being organized by a distinguished group of international scientists. The meeting will include eight plenary talks and 18 sessions covering different aspects related to industrial microorganisms.
