The school intends to present some selected tools that can help humanist in their researches and activities, taking advantage of the digital turn and the new technologies.
Particular attention is given this year to useful tools for the cultural heritage in organizing and managing digital collections.
The school will be held in hybrid form: some students in person (limited seats) and others online.
Aim
The School is addressing all those interested in getting basic and working knowledge of some of the digital tools available today to scholars in many different fields of the Humanities.
The topics in the edition of 2022 will include:
- Introduction to Digital Humanities
- Designing a project in Digital Public History
- Digitization of documents and artifacts
- Basic tools for Natural Language Processing
- Basic tools fo Digital Editions
- Tools for image classification and retrieval
- Meaning-making and storytelling in the age of social media

From graduated students up to professionals in the Humanities (PhD students,librarians, teachers, researches, archivists, museologist, etc.)
