  • an official University transcript with a list of courses taken, legalized and translated into Italian (Diploma supplement if available)
  • a description of each course taken written on the University's official letterhead stationary or validated with the University stamp
  • passport photo;
  • a special stamp (marca da bollo) of 16 euros (which you can buy at a "Tabacchino" shop)
  • photocopy of your passport or identification card (you must bring the original passport or if you are an European citizen, ID card to show);
  • copy of the Residency Permit (only for non E.U. citizens);
  • receipt of payment of the first instalment: € 407.00 (issued to the postcode no. 150565 and addressed to the University of Pisa, description: RA117) or the receipt of your application to a DSU scholarship in case you meet the necessary criteria.

More details about DSU grants are available at the following web pages: DSU Toscana website (Italian language only).

PLEASE note that in order to enrol in a Master’s degree programme or to request recognition of some of your previous courses, the academic committee of the selected programme may additionally ask you for the course descriptions. It is also important to know that:

• If you enrol in a Master’s degree programme (laurea magistrale), admission depends on the possession of specific academic requirements. To learn about these requirements, please visit the webpages which contain this information as well as the list of degree programmes available, and look for the section which corresponds to the degree you are interested in. If you need a preliminary assessment of your current degree, you may send an email to the President of the degree programme you are interested in.

• If you enrol in a degree programme taught in English (Master's degree), we recommend you visit the dedicated webpage to learn about the procedure, deadlines and academic requests necessary for admission.

• You may directly ask the President of the degree programme if you can submit your University transcript with all the courses taken as well as the content description of each course in the original language.

Please note that, without exception, you must submit all documents to the WIS! in their original format with their corresponding photocopy accompanied by an official translation into Italian and legalized (or with an Apostille).

For the a.y. 2017/2018, the WIS! office will be open starting on 27th July until 4th August and then from 23th August until 6th October from 9am to noon.
