In 2002 she obtained her Ph.D from the same university with a dissertation on \u201cComputational Methods for Studying Protein-Ligand Docking\u201d. That same year she was awarded a research fellowship of four years in the field of Computational Chemistry, to be carried out in the Computational Laboratory of the Department of Pharmacy. In 2004 she completed the Postgraduate School of Specialization in Hospital Pharmacy. After a period as Scientific Technician at the Department of Pharmacy, University of Pisa (2007 \u2013 2018), during which she was teaching support assistant for Qualitative Organic Analysis and Computational Chemistry courses, she was appointed in December 2018 as Associate Professor at the same Department. Her research interests cover various computational methodologies applied to medicinal chemistry, like molecular docking, homology modeling, pharmacophoric studies, 3D-QSAR and ADMET in silico.
