The University of Pisa, in order to support scientific research, academic exchange, and the sharing of findings and results, announces an annual call for proposals to award grants for the organization of scientific conferences and the publication of conference proceedings.<\/p>\n

Call for Proposals for Grants for Scientific Conferences and Related Proceedings \u2013 2026<\/h2>\n

By Rector\u2019s Decree No. 112\/2026 dated February 3, 2026, the Call for Proposals for the awarding of grants for scientific conferences and the publication of related proceedings\u2014for the year 2026<\/a>\u2014was issued.<\/p>\n

The funding available for the year 2026 amounts to 75,000 euros<\/strong> for scientific conferences organized between January 1 and December 31, 2026<\/strong>, and for the publication of the related proceedings, where applicable.<\/p>\n

Scientific conferences may be eligible for funding if they are organized in accordance with the principles set forth in the \u201cGuidelines for Gender Equality at Conferences\u201d<\/a>, that take place in the Province of Pisa or in locations where the University of Pisa carries out institutional activities<\/strong>, and that are international in nature<\/strong> (i.e., that include at least one speaker from a foreign university or other research institution or organization).<\/p>\n

Permanent and fixed-term professors and researchers at the University of Pisa may submit a grant application.
\nThe grant is awarded based on the duration of the conference, ranging from 1,000 to 2,000 euros.<\/p>\n
