{"id":51337,"date":"2025-03-25T12:02:50","date_gmt":"2025-03-25T12:02:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.unipi.it\/international-students\/corsi-di-lingua-e-cultura-italiana-per-studenti-internazionali\/"},"modified":"2026-01-20T12:25:43","modified_gmt":"2026-01-20T11:25:43","slug":"courses-of-italian-language-and-culture-for-international-students-per-studenti-internazionali","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.unipi.it\/en\/international-students\/courses-of-italian-language-and-culture-for-international-students-per-studenti-internazionali\/","title":{"rendered":"Courses of Italian language and culture for international students"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The University of Pisa organises courses of Italian language and culture for international students, through the <a href=\"https:\/\/portal.cli.unipi.it\/corsi-di-italiano\">University Language Centre.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Since July 2015, the University Language Centre (CLI) has become a <strong>CILS examination<\/strong> centre and, in addition to its standard Italian language courses for foreigners, it offers preparation exercises for the<a href=\"https:\/\/portal.cli.unipi.it\/cils\"> CILS exam<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The CILS Certification is an officially recognised qualification that attests to the level of linguistic-communicative proficiency in Italian as L2.<\/p>\n<p>The CILS certification exams are held at the CLI according to an annual schedule, in the months of June and December.<\/p>\n<p>For information on registration and exam procedures, please <a href=\"https:\/\/portal.cli.unipi.it\/\">check the CLI website<\/a> or contact the student office (tel. +39 050 2215915).<\/p>\n<p>There is also a free<a href=\"https:\/\/www.unipi.it\/en\/international-students\/refugee-students\/free-italian-language-course-for-university-students-with-international-or-special-protection\/\"> Italian language course for university students with international or special protection status<\/a> (registration deadline: 31\/03\/2025)<\/p>\n<h2>ItaliAmo App<\/h2>\n<p>The ItaliAmo app is a free <strong>level A1 course<\/strong> in Italian language and culture for iOS and Android devices, developed by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/mae\/it\/\">Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The aim is to provide a new interactive tool for teaching the Italian language and promoting Italian cultural and productive excellence abroad.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, the app is <strong>only available in English and Chinese<\/strong>, but other versions in the main foreign languages are planned to be launched soon.<\/p>\n<p>Below and attached are the links and QR codes to download the App directly:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/itunes.apple.com\/us\/app\/italiamo\/id1341662965?l=it&amp;ls=1&amp;mt=8\">iOS<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.italia.ovosodo\">Android<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.unipi.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/ItaliAmo_QR_code-1.pdf\">ItaliAmo QR code<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The University of Pisa organises courses of Italian language and culture for international students, through the University Language Centre.
