Latina<\/strong> is a a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unipi.it\/images\/UMI\/Inclinados_10Ottobre2024.pdf\">project created to promote<\/a> the University of Pisa in the Latin American continent and to facilitate the reception of Latin American citizens interested in the second-level educational offer of the University, through the provision of a scholarship<\/p>\n<p><strong>Who can apply for the scholarship<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Exclusively Latin American nationals with a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unipi.it\/en\/education\/courses\/\">university degree compatible with the academic offer of the University of Pisa.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Study programmes eligible for the scholarship<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Bachelor\u2019s Degree in <a href=\"\/en\/?my_cds_slug=management-for-business-and-economics-mbe-l-en\">Management for Business and Economics<\/a><\/strong>, in English, duration 3 years.<\/p>\n<p>The scholarship includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>exemption from tuition fees for four years<\/li>\n<li>free canteen service (one meal per day from Monday to Friday) for the duration of the tuition fee exemption<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Application requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>secondary school diploma involving at least 12 years of education<\/li>\n<li>certificate stating that the applicant has passed the admission test<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.unipi.it\/en\/education\/courses\/master-degree\/\">Master\u2019s Degree<\/a> in different fields<\/strong>, duration 2 years, in Italian and English.<\/p>\n<p>The scholarship includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>exemption from tuition fees for three years<\/li>\n<li>free canteen service (one meal per day from Monday to Friday) for the duration of the tuition fee exemption<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Application requirements<\/p>\n<p><strong>for Italian-language programmes<\/strong>: select the degree course and check the admission requirements.<\/p>\n<p>Previous university studies must be compatible with the academic requirements of the University of Pisa.<\/p>\n<p>For a pre-evaluation, please send the following documents to <a href=\"https:\/\/news.confap.org.br\/lancada-chamada-mci-mobility-confap-italy-2025-de-apoio-a-mobilidade-de-pesquisadores-do-brasil-para-universidades-da-italia\/\">project Mobility CONFAP-ITALY (MCI II)<\/a> aims to facilitate and support effective collaboration between <a href=\"http:\/\/confap.org.br\/news\/confap-e-universidades-italianas-lancam-chamada-2019-para-mobilidade-na-italia\/\">CONFAP (Conselho Nacional das Funda\u00e7\u00f5es de Amparo \u00e0 Pesquisa)<\/a> and the Italian Network for Scientific and Technological Cooperation and Innovation, through mobility between Italy and Brazil of PhD students, postgraduate degree students (Mestrado students, for thesis research) and post-doc students.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, the Italian Network includes 22 universities and a research centre, all working in collaboration with CONFAP. The University of Bologna is the coordinating partner of the Italian Network.<\/p>\n<p>To participate, applicants must reside in Brazil. <strong>Those who already live or study in Europe will not be admitted.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>How to apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Opportunities with Italian universities that are part of the Network are published on the <a href=\"https:\/\/site.unibo.it\/mobility-confap-italy\/en\/research-opportunity-offers-in-italy\">MCI website<\/a>. For information on further research collaborations, you can directly <a href=\"https:\/\/site.unibo.it\/mobility-confap-italy\/en\/mci-program\/network-of-italian-university\">contact the MCI Network<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Brazilian State Funding Agencies (FAPs) may require proposals to be submitted on their platform as well: applicants should check directly with their FAP.<\/p>\n<p>For <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unipi.it\/index.php\/studenti-dell-america-latina\/item\/download\/30800_691cb3ce3eea8765b4d2ea3d1954071e\">the 2025 cal<\/a>l applications must be<strong> submitted by 25 April 2025<\/strong>, through the CONFAP platform.<\/p>\n<p>Brazilian applicants must upload the following documents:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>research project (there is no predefined form)<\/li>\n<li>curriculum vitae of the Brazilian candidate<\/li>\n<li>curriculum vitae of the supervisor in Italy<\/li>\n<li>letter of support signed by the supervisor at the University in Italy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Brazilian State Funding Agencies may ask for additional requirements require and for proposals to be submitted on their platform as well: applicants should check directly with their FAP.<\/p>\n<p>For general information about the call, please contact: <a href=\"mailto:internacional.confap@gmail.com\">internacional.confap@gmail.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Please note that the acceptance of candidates will follow the Italian academic year.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Selection Criteria<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All applications will be evaluated through a peer review process conducted by each of the participating FAPs, according to the following criteria:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the quality of the proposed research project<\/li>\n<li>academic performance and specific requirements indicated by the participating FAPs<\/li>\n<li>the academic performance of the supervisor at the host institution<\/li>\n<li>the track record of the applicants and the host organisation in the proposed research field<\/li>\n<li>the potential advantages for the applicant\u2019s career development<\/li>\n<li>each participating FAP can announce its specific selection criteria in their respective Guidelines or in the guidance provided for this call.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Research fields<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All the disciplinary areas of the university: Agricultural and Veterinary Sciences, Humanities, Engineering, Medicine and Pharmacy, Legal, Economic and Social Sciences, Mathematical, Physical and Natural Sciences.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Language<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The language proficiency level required for each individual mobility will be published in the academic offer. In most cases, English will be the required language.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Services offered by the University of Pisa<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>personalised welcome by the Welcome Office<\/li>\n<li>access to libraries, study rooms and laboratories<\/li>\n<li>Italian language courses at the Language Centre (CLI) at subsidised fees<\/li>\n<li>canteen service at subsidised fees<\/li>\n<li>Free access to the university Wi-Fi network<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Obligations of scholarship holders<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>They must comply with the legal requirements related to visa, residence permit and health insurance.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The scholarship includes:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sandwich PhD students, post-doctoral students and Mestrado students will not pay any fees during the mobility period<\/li>\n<li>The full PhD student, beneficiary of the three-year grant obtained from FAP, will be exempt from paying annual university fees and the regional tax.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t<\/p>\n<p><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Two exchange and cooperation programmes are in place for students from Latin American countries: Inclinados hacia Am\u00e9rica Latina &#8211;
