The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen (CUHK-Shenzhen)<\/a> is an international university based in Shenzhen, dedicated to education and research in the fields of technological innovation and applied sciences.<\/p>\n

CUHK-Shenzhen is offering a summer program on artificial intelligence applied to science and engineering, divided into two distinct tracks.<\/p>\n

The two-week Coursework Track<\/strong> will take place from July 13 to 27, 2026<\/strong>, and is aimed at undergraduate students (preferably in their third year) and graduate students. The track involves attending thematic courses and dedicated educational activities.<\/p>\n

The Research Track<\/strong>, on the other hand, involves direct participation in a research project under the supervision of a faculty member, with the option to audit up to two courses from the academic curriculum. The program will take place between July 6 and July 31, 2026, or until August 14, 2026<\/strong>, with a duration ranging from four to six weeks. The program is open to undergraduate students expected to graduate in 2027 and to graduate students, and is subject to selection followed by assignment to research projects.<\/p>\n

Costs<\/h2>\n

The Coursework Track requires a participation fee of 5,000 yuan, which includes on-campus housing; full or partial waivers are available for the most deserving students, awarded by the host university in accordance with its selection procedures.<\/p>\n

There are no participation fees or accommodation costs for the Research Track; research grants may also be awarded to selected students, according to criteria defined by the host university.<\/p>\n
