{"id":457306,"date":"2026-01-28T10:55:05","date_gmt":"2026-01-28T09:55:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.unipi.it\/innovation\/from-research-to-market\/brevettimarchisoftware\/innovation-promoter-e-diagnosi-per-le-pmi\/"},"modified":"2026-03-09T13:22:11","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T12:22:11","slug":"innovation-promoter-e-diagnosi-per-le-pmi","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.unipi.it\/en\/innovation\/from-research-to-market\/patents-trademarks-and-software\/innovation-promoter-e-diagnosi-per-le-pmi\/","title":{"rendered":"Innovation promoters and ip diagnostics for smes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>For several years, the Technology Transfer Office has benefited from the contribution of <strong>Innovation Promoters<\/strong>, professionals selected through calls issued by the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy (MIMIT), aimed at strengthening the Technology Transfer Offices of Italian universities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The role of the Innovation Promoter<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Innovation Promoter<\/strong> carries out competence scouting activities from the earliest stages of project development, anticipating possible protection and valorisation strategies and supporting inventors in subsequent technology transfer actions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Industrial Property Diagnostic Service for SMEs<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Innovation Promoter also provides a <strong>free Industrial Property (IP) Diagnostic Service<\/strong>, promoted by the <strong>Italian Patent and Trademark Office (UIBM) <\/strong>of MIMIT, in collaboration with universities and research bodies.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/Pages\/ResponsePage.aspx?id=MWtFxyCi9Ue-Ukc4KGcKoZwWsf9j_QdAhcBIeAxLxG1UMDI1ME43OUxSUzcxUEEzMUwyM0lNV0VDRy4u\"><strong>Industrial Property Diagnostic Service \u2013 University of Pisa \u2013 Complete the form<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The service is aimed at <strong>Italian small and medium-sized enterprises<\/strong> (SMEs) and offers:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a <strong>tailored diagnostic analysis<\/strong> of IP titles;<\/li>\n<li><strong>guidance on the management<\/strong> of industrial property;<\/li>\n<li>identification of <strong>new valorisation opportunities<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Companies may engage directly with the staff of the University\u2019s <strong>Technology Transfer Office (TTO)<\/strong> on issues relating to the knowledge, protection, management and valorisation of industrial property.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2026even without IP titles<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The service is also available to SMEs that do <strong>not yet hold industrial property titles<\/strong> (patents, trademarks, etc.).
